of Annie Allen who was sexually assaulted by another resident of the facility. Because of chronic short staffing, the nursing home failed to provide a safe environment leading to catastrophic injuries, disfigurement, extreme pain, suffering, and mental anguish.
The jury returned a verdict of $1 million.
