| Description: |
Nursing home neglect attorneys from Wilkes
& McHugh, P.A. represented John
Lee Butler, a Korean War veteran who
died of starvation. The case led the
foreman of this jury to say, "You're
not dealing with goldfish you can flush
away when they are dead." He and
the jury heard testimony about a case
that sent shock waves through the Tampa
area for its graphic portrayal of negligence
at its worst. The jury returned a verdict
of $15 million.
