Daniel Amos received his undergraduate degree in Spanish Literature from UCLA in 1981 and his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in 1984.
Mr. Amos began his legal career as an associate with the law firm of Greene, O’Reilly, Agnew & Broillet where he worked for eight years. He then started his own private practice and in 1996 became a partner at Paul & Janofsky in Santa Monica, CA. Mr. Amos joined Wilkes & McHugh, P.A. in 2007.
As a lifetime sustaining member of the Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles, Mr. Amos has excelled in the handling of significant and complex cases involving medical malpractice, wrongful death, product liability, elder abuse and other matters of serious personal injury. He has handled numerous personal injury trials and was co-trial counsel in the medical malpractice action entitled Gibbon vs. County of Los Angeles, where his client obtained a jury verdict in the amount of $4.1 million.
Mr. Amos is licensed to practice law in California. He is a member of the State Bar of California, the United States District Court for the Central District, the California Consumer Attorneys Association and has served as an Arbitrator for the Los Angeles Superior Court Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee and as a Judge Pro Tem.
