M .J. McDonald has been licensed as a Registered Nurse since 1974. She received her undergraduate degree from Stephens College in 1977 and her B.S. in Nursing from the University of Tampa in 1986. Ms. McDonald received her Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1988.
Prior to joining Wilkes & McHugh, P.A. in 2002, Ms. McDonald was an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Michigan in the Healthcare Fraud and Public Health Divisions.
Ms. McDonald is licensed to practice law in Florida, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Texas. She is a member of the Florida Bar, the State Bar of Michigan, and the State Bar of Texas. Ms. McDonald is a Certified County and Civil Mediator and a Certified Health Care Risk Manager in Florida. She has been awarded the Phi Alpha Delta Scholastic Achievement Award, as well as the American Jurisprudence Book Award in Computer Assisted Legal Research.
