Mary Clift Hitt received both her B.A. in English, Summa Cum Laude, in 2004 and her Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, in 2007 from the University of Mississippi. As an undergraduate, she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi. While in law school, she was a member of Moot Court Board, the Mississippi Law Journal, and Phi Delta Phi.
Ms. Hitt is also the Membership Director for the Mississippi Law Journal. Her honors include winner of Moot Court Trial Advocacy Competition, recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship and the American Jurisprudence Award for Prosecution Function.
Prior to joining Wilkes & McHugh, P.A. in 2007, Ms. Hitt had an externship with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Mississippi. She is licensed to practice law in Arkansas and is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association.
