Scott Distasio received both his B.S. in Business Administration and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida in 1986 and 1990, respectively.

Mr. Distasio joined Wilkes & McHugh, P.A. in 2006. He began his legal career in 1990 at Sheer, Newman, Hahn and Rosenkranz where he eventually became a Shareholder of the firm. In 2000, Mr. Distasio was a founding Shareholder of Bales Weinstein. His practice has always involved nursing home, medical malpractice and personal injury law.

Mr. Distasio is licensed to practice in Florida. He is a member of the Florida Bar, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the Florida Justice Association and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He is admitted to practice in all State Courts of Florida as well as the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Federal Courts in Florida.
