Ryan J. Duty
Ryan J. Duty received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, in 2007. He went on to earn his Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh in 2010.
While in law school, Mr. Duty was named to The Order of the Barristers for achieving excellence in moot court, received the "CALI Award of Future Excellence" for earning the highest grade in Pennsylvania Civil Procedure, and received the "Outstanding Oral Argument" award for appellate argument. He was appointed research editor of The Duquesne Law Review, associate editor of Juris Magazine, and was published in the first volume of The Duquesne Criminal Law Journal. Mr. Duty also competed in the ABA Labor and Employment Mock Trial Competition and was selected to participate in the Gourley Mock Trial Competition.
Prior to joining Wilkes & McHugh, P.A. as an attorney, Mr. Duty worked for the firm as a law clerk. He is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar and West Virginia State Bar.
