Sandra D. Sutter

Sandra D. Sutter graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Psychology from Colorado State University in 1997. She received a master's degree in Family Studies with a specialization in Marriage & Family Therapy from the University of Kentucky in 2000. Ms. Sutter went on to earn her Juris Doctor in 2007, graduating magna cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.

She received multiple awards during her educational career, including KAMFT Student of the Year at the University of Kentucky, and Book Awards for Trial Practice and Psychology & Family Law at the University of Florida Levin College of Law.

Prior to law school, Ms. Sutter practiced as an addictions counselor.

Ms. Sutter's legal career began with an internship with Klein & Klein, P.A. in Ocala, Fla., in 2006. She then took on an associate position with Siboni, Hamer & Buchanan, P.A. in Ocala, where she assisted with medical malpractice defense cases. Last year, Ms. Sutter managed a solo practice, Sandra D. Sutter, P.A., that focused on small business, equine, employment, creditor-debtor and family law matters, as well as provided family mediation and guardian ad litem services.

She is licensed in Florida and Kentucky and is a member of both the Kentucky Bar Association and Florida Bar. She also is a member of the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida; and Marion County Bar Association Young Lawyer's Division. Ms. Sutter is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator.
