Biography

Erica Wilson received her BA in English and Communications from Boston College before earning her Juris Doctor from Temple University Beasley School of Law. While in law school, she was awarded Outstanding Oral Advocacy in Trial Advocacy, Advanced Trial Advocacy and Public Defender’s Clinical, and was on the Temple Law Review. 

Prior to joining Wilkes & McHugh in 2012, Ms. Wilson served seven years as an Assistant District Attorney with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. During that time she investigated and prosecuted police misconduct and municipal corruption as a member of the Special Investigations Unit, as well as tried more than 30 jury trials for major felony offenses while assigned to the Major Trial Unit.  Most recently, she was an associate at Lamb McErlane, P.C., where she handled general litigation, civil rights defense and municipal liability matters.
