Melanie Bossie received her B.S. in Criminology, magna cum laude, from Florida State University. She received her Juris Doctorate degree from Florida State University School of Law, with high honors, in 1992. Prior to joining Wilkes & McHugh in 1999, Ms. Bossie was a Prosecutor with the Hillsborough County (Florida) State Attorney’s Office. Ms. Bossie has handled over 100 jury trials, while prosecuting for the County Attorney, focusing on career-type criminal matters and homicide litigation including a death penalty case.
