Community Legal Services celebrates 50 years
Community Legal Services of Philadelphia celebrated 50 years of providing free legal assistance to low-income citizens of the Philadelphia. The organization helps clients when they face the threat of losing their homes, incomes, health care, and families. CLS provides a full range of legal services, from individual representation to administrative advocacy to class action litigation, as well as community education and social work, according to its website.
Wilkes & McHugh, P.A. was a proud sponsor of the organization’s anniversary celebration. Like W&M, CLS has been a strong proponent of preventing abuse and neglect of the city’s nursing home residents. Attorneys Erica Wilson and Lorraine Donnelly represented Wilkes & McHugh, P.A. at the event.
