Hannah Jamison joins Wilkes & McHugh, P.A.
Wilkes & McHugh, P.A. is pleased to announce that Hannah Jamison has joined the firm as an attorney in our Lexington, Kentucky, office.
Ms. Jamison earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in American politics from the University of Virginia before going on to graduate from the University of Kentucky College of Law with her Juris Doctor. While in law school she was staff editor of the Kentucky Law Journal, and president and national team member of the Moot Court Board. She earned the Kentucky Law Journal Colvin P. Rouse Award for Outstanding Writing, CALI Award for Highest Grade in Legal Research & Writing, Best Appellee’s Brief in Legal Research & Writing, Three-Year Academic Merit Provost’s Fellowship Recipient, and Luke Woodward Memorial Moot Court Award. Ms. Jaimson also was named a Kentucky Colonel, which is the highest title of honor bestowed by the Governor of Kentucky and recognizes an individual’s outstanding service to the community.
Prior to joining Wilkes & McHugh, P.A., Ms. Jamison worked first as a paralegal and then summer associate for Penn, Stuart & Eskridge, a law firm with offices in Virginia and Tennessee. She also worked a law clerk and then associate attorney for Landrum & Shouse in Lexington.
Ms. Jamison is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, the Fayette County Bar Association, and the Kentucky Justice Association. She is involved in Kentucky Lawyers for the Arts, which supports the Kentucky arts community by providing referrals to attorneys that are willing to offer pro bono legal services to qualifying artists and arts organizations. She is also a member of Junior League of Lexington, an organization that promotes "voluntarism and improving the community through action and leadership."
