Wilkes & McHugh swept the running awards during the Hillsborough County Bar Association's 16th Annual 5K Pro Bono River Run and Judicial Pig Roast/Food Festival on April 13! We took first place as a team, and legal assistant Chris Rapozo nabbed the top men’s award, while Amy Tanaka, sister to W&M attorney Lisa Tanaka, claimed the women’s prize. Team runners also included attorneys Donna Hanes, who took first place in her age group, and Rainey Booth.
We are proud of our runners, but more importantly, we are proud to continue to support the HCBA as a Big Kahuna sponsor for the annual event. All funds raised from the day go toward providing pro bono legal services to people in need in Hillsborough County, Florida.
The firm enjoys participating in this event each year and helping support an important cause in our community. To learn more about free and low-cost legal aid in Tampa Bay, visit the HCBA's website for more resources. To see the complete race results, click here.
